Ring Sizer

You’ve just bought the perfect ring for an event you’ve been looking forward to for months, and this one accessory ties together your entire outfit. It’s a look you’ve dreamed of, and you finally took the plunge to invest in the perfect piece. It’s arrived, you’ve taken it out of the box, and it doesn’t fit. Event = ruined. We’re here to remove this entire stressful ordeal from your life with our specialised ring sizer, so you know precisely which ring will be right for you.

Ring Sizer FAQS 2026

How can I find my ring size accurately at home?

As the (frankly horrific) saying goes, there’s more than one way to skin a cat. There are also more than one way to find your ring size, but the accuracy of the method can depend on the choice you make. Opting for a traditional tape measure can be a good choice if time is of the essence, but the results may be skewed depending on the initial markings of the tape. Some people have tried to discover their perfect ring size using a piece of string and a ruler, but this is one we’d avoid. For the most accurate measurement possible, our ring sizer is the safest bet to ensure you end up ordering the piece that’s perfect for you.

Does Camile and Stone UK provide a printable ring sizer?

Due to the nature of our ring sizer, we aren’t able to provide one that you can print at home. We wanted to ensure that our ring sizer created an accurate measurement, which can only be emulated through our coveted belt-like sizing tool. Unlike a piece like a statement cuff, which can be adjusted to your wrist, rings need to be fitted correctly to ensure optimum comfort and style. Our adjustable ring sizer is the only way to ensure that your ring is the perfect fit.

What’s the easiest way to measure your ring size in the UK?

If you need an easy way to obtain the perfect ring size, we’ve noted down a few of our favourite ways you can make sure you’re getting the perfect accessory at home:

  • Measure the inner diameter of a well-fitting ring using a tape measure, then compare it to a UK ring size chart
  • Wrap a strip of paper or string around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length
  • Make sure to measure at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest
  • Avoid measuring when your hands are cold, as fingers may be temporarily smaller
  • Visit a local jeweller for a professional and precise measurement
  • If buying as a gift, borrow a ring your recipient wears on the intended finger and use that as a sizing guide

Can I order a physical ring sizer from Camile and Stone UK?

Not only can you order a physical ring sizer from our online store, but we highly recommend that you do. If you’re looking for the perfect accessory to complement your brand-new tennis necklace, our ring sizer is here to ensure a perfect fit. They’re also handy to know the ideal size for an engagement ring. Your beloved will want to wear this piece immediately, so ensuring the right size is purchased means they can show off the stunning piece you bought them right away. A physical ring sizer allows you to find your ring size easily, without needing to refer to a complicated ring size chart.

How do UK ring sizes compare with US or EU sizes?

If you’re unsure of how to find your ring size at home, or know what your US or EU ring size is and want to compare, we’ve provided the main comparisons between the three below:

  • UK ring sizes use letters (A–Z), while US sizes use numbers (e.g. 4–13), and EU sizes are based on the inner circumference of the ring in millimetres
  • A UK size L is approximately a US size 5.75 and EU size 51
  • UK sizes typically increase by half letters (e.g. M to M½), whereas US sizes go up in quarter or half number increments
  • EU sizes increase by whole numbers, making their scale more linear than the UK or US systems

Why is correct sizing essential when shopping for rings online?

Not only is choosing the right style of Evil Eye ring essential to ensuring it fits into your style requirements, but the right size can also impact your ability to wear it. An ill-fitting ring will likely be uncomfortable, and you’ll find yourself adjusting it constantly throughout the day. If it’s too loose of a fit, your ring will slide around your finger, and you may face the risk of it coming loose or losing it. If it’s too tight, you’ll notice that the finger your ring is on will swell up uncomfortably, and in emergencies, you may need to have it cut off. Our physical ring sizer is one of the most accurate ring sizing tools on the market, ensuring your pieces fit perfectly.

What are common sizing mistakes to avoid?

When shopping for a crystal ring, it can be tempting to opt for a piece that is slightly smaller than your suggested size to ensure a snug fit. We recommend choosing a ring that fits exactly, as undersized rings can be extremely uncomfortable if they get stuck on your finger. We wish that the soap trick worked for getting super tight rings off, but we have standing evidence that it just doesn’t (yes, it hurt a lot). Likewise, opting for a ring that is too big can feel like a good choice for a friendship ring to ensure you leave room to grow, but we don’t want you to risk losing your favourite new piece.
