The Evil Eye motif is one that is as culturally significant as it is aesthetically pleasing, and creating jewellery with this motif is something we wanted to ensure we kept its integrity in our designs. A tricky balance to strike perfectly, we wanted to ensure that our collection held the protective energy that the Evil Eye is known for whilst also being fashionable enough to incorporate into your daily looks. Whilst the symbol has traditionally been known for its protective energy, there’s absolutely no reason you can’t showcase  it in a way that captures your personal style. Picking colours for each of our new ranges is one of the tasks that our designers take the most seriously. When we were researching for our collection we wanted to ensure that we were using the traditional hues of these well-known designs - as well as other colours that are popular within our audience. Blue, a typical colour found in the Evil Eye motif, is a colour that evokes calmness, spirituality, and protection. It’s been said that blue is a colour that can deflect negative energy, essentially helping to calm the “heat” that is generated by envy and ill intentions. Our collection also makes use of beautiful emerald stones, and the calm green tranquility these evoke are the perfect choice for these strong symbols.
