After this, four to seven business days is the average timeframe it will take many jewellers to custom-make personalised jewellery. The moment it has been crafted to perfection, they will ship it to you.

Though we know you'll want to get your hands on your personalised jewellery as soon as possible, we value your patience! Shipping times may vary, as can the time it takes to craft beautiful custom jewellery.

Does Camile & Stone offer engraving services for jewellery?

Customers love custom jewellery for its engravings and meaningful symbols, and Camile and Stone can offer that. One of our particularly elegant pieces is our engraved bar necklaces. We can engrave:

• Birthdates 

With these engravings, we add unique designs to your chosen item—we will craft the custom engraved jewellery especially for you.

Since the engraving process is detailed and intricate, our workshop will require between three and five business days to complete and send the handcrafted personalised jewellery to you. We advise that since the engraved pieces are personalised for you, we don't accept returns in this case.

Does custom jewellery tarnish?

While some custom jewellery can tarnish and become discoloured or lose its shine, others will not. In many cases, it will depend on:

• The materials
• Their exposure to moisture
• Their exposure to chemicals

Can I return or exchange personalised jewellery?

While non-personalised jewellery pieces are easily exchanged, unfortunately, you can't return or exchange personalised jewellery. So, while you can send back non-custom jewellery, your custom-made jewellery is designed exclusively for you. Since it differs from custom-made jewellery in its bespoke design, and was only intended for you as the end customer, this type of jewellery will not be eligible for a refund. 

We make returning non-custom items easy, simply ensure the piece is in tact and return within 30 days. But Camile and Stone won't accept returns on personalised jewellery.

Can I see a mock-up or design before my custom jewellery is made?

Yes. Customers can view a design for their custom jewellery before the jewellery is made. Preview designs are available to give you a clear idea of the final bespoke design. You'll be able to see examples of the custom design, whether that's a bar necklace or an engraved ring, on our website so that you will always know what the final piece will look like. 

These designs will feature default or already-made pieces. We will make the piece according to your precise specifications, ensuring that the unique elements capture your individuality.
